Aequos Engage

Aequos Engage is the next-generation product research and analysis solution for advisers.

Built on the latest technology, the system is updated daily with real-time data. It can also be used offline so you can conduct a product search anywhere – from home or with a client. Aequos Engage has the facility to integrate with existing back office CRM systems and web-based quote portals creating a seamless process for managing client relationships.

Client details

The first stage of any Aequos Engage session is completing client details. If you have launched Aequos Engage from a compatible back office CRM system, you will see client information is pre-populated. The full completion of these details is particularly important because the information held on this screen is used at the end of your research process to populate your final report.

Features selection

After selecting the product type that your client is interested in you will move to the issues/features selection screen. The screen displays a categorised list of features to research, which can be matched against your client’s needs. Features can be selected by placing a tick against them. This screen can be used in conjunction with your existing client fact find. Once the fact find had been completed and you have established your client’s needs and requirements, you can select the issues in Aequos Engage that correspond with your fact find information.

Product analysis

After the required product features have been selected you can progress to the product analysis section. This section lists the issues and features that you previously selected and allows you to optionally apply sifts and apply a rating of importance to each feature. By using a combination of sifting and applying importance levels, you are able to narrow down the product universe to identify the one which best suits your client’s needs.

Product selection

After sifting the products down to a reasonable number that match your client’s criteria you will move to the product selection screen. This screen lists the matching products in DNA score order and provides you with numerous features to help you make a qualified product selection. In addition to reviewing the product details using the various brochure and data comparison tools as well as the graphing facilities within Aequos Engage, you are also able to compare the associated funds of the matching product. It is possible to compare the funds based on data, or graphically, based on performance history. Having decided which product to recommend, you can also request quote information from a compatible quotes portal.

Reporting

The reporting within Aequos Engage has been designed to be as adaptable as possible while retaining its compliant status. Within the reporting screen, you are able to select which sections of the report to include based on your own and your client’s requirements including, where applicable, individual fund fact sheets for the product’s associated funds.
